The Eternal Ink Color Wheel System (CWS) is based on a traditional artist’s color wheel. To fully reveal our wide range of colors, we have created two different color wheels: a Value Color Wheel and a Chroma Color Wheel. Every Eternal Ink color is included on each color wheel.
How is the Eternal Ink Color Wheel System different?
The Eternal Ink color wheel system is the only color wheel in the world to provide a unique color reference number determined by a scientific measurement of that color. The reference number categorizes each Eternal Ink color based on that color’s dynamic facets within the skin. The pigment hue and reference number dictate the position of each Eternal Ink color within the color wheel. Based on a value and a chroma hierarchy, we have organized two separate and easy to view color wheel visuals. For tattooers, the two wheels provide a detailed and accurate evaluation to use as a daily tool for tattoo color choices and color theory.
• The Eternal Ink Value Color Wheel is organized from dark values at the center of the wheel to light values on the outside of the wheel.
• The Eternal Ink Chroma Color Wheel is organized from muted hues at the center of the wheel to vibrant hues on the outside of the wheel.
