ABOUT THE ARTIST

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Halo began his artistic journey inspired by Magic: The Gathering, originally aiming to become a fantasy artist. That path ultimately led him into tattooing, where he found a craft that combined illustration, technical skill, and human connection. He later reinforced his approach through college studies in Illustrative Design and Concept Art, bringing a strong foundational understanding of composition, lighting, and form into his tattoo work.
His tattooing process is built on close study of the subject, layered construction, and refined control of line work and shading, resulting in tattoos that feel both realistic and dynamic. While he also works in oil and acrylic painting and other mediums, tattooing remains a central part of his daily practice, allowing him to continually refine his skills while translating fantasy‑driven aesthetics into lasting work on skin.
