After experimenting with tattooing throughout the 1980s, Aaron began his professional career in 1993 after moving from California to Seattle. In 1995, he opened Slave to the Needle, a shop that has since become a well-regarded fixture in the tattoo community. Known for his speed, efficiency, and commitment to large-scale work, Aaron specializes in traditional Japanese tattooing with a slightly western twist. He focuses on creating cohesive, expansive pieces—guided by tradition—and building lasting relationships with clients who share his appreciation for classic the classic Japanese aesthetic.
